Geological position
Geological position refers to a location in terms of geological features rather than purely geographical features. For example Pakistan's geographical position is that it is located in the greater Indian subcontinent, situated at the crossroads of the Middle East and Asia. Pakistan's geological position is that it overlaps both the Indian and the Eurasian tectonic plates, the nearest major geological features.
